I consider the healing work that I do to be a living bridge. I strive to meet every individual where they are, and provide tools and practices that allow them to actively participate in crossing into a healthier, happier, and more conscious life.  After more than a decade of working as an acupuncturist  in the twin ports, I have loved seeing my community empowered with health choices. They are getting relief from chronic pain and illness with less medication or invasive treatments. Our healing center is a place that connect individuals with themselves and their community and I am glad for that.  Away from work I am up to my ears in the mothering of four beautiful children, gardening and ... studying Chinese Medicine!

I specialize in Mind-body psychotherapy, Reiki healing, and Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga for those that are looking to awaken their consciousness or are in need of care for physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual circumstances. I received a BA is Psychology in 2007 and a Master of Social Work degree in 2013.

In the years between, I have had the great fortune to study and work at two different Buddhist Retreat centers on the West coast. Precious connections were made to the Buddhist teachings, the beautiful land, and incredible teachers. In addition, I fell in love with yoga of all forms, it was a curative salve for my physical and emotional wounds. I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation for over 20 years and authorized as a Kum Nye instructor since 2017.

In terms of Reiki, I believe it really found me, entered my awareness slowly, planting seeds here and there. When painful situations emerged, the answer to my prayers and questions was a loving whisper of “Reiki.” I studied and trained with two different teachers in Minneapolis, MN and received my Reiki Master/Teacher certificate in 2014.

I have had a variety of experience working with children, teenagers, and adults with mental health issues. These experiences have been valuable, however, I love owning my own practice because I can freely incorporate the holistic care that I think is so critical to healing and change.

I started my career in western medicine as a pediatric nurse. I have always had an affinity for holistic healthcare, however, my true love and understanding of holistic medicine started in 2012 when I started working for a holistic pediatrician. This doctor showed me how to heal your body using food in conjunction with other healing modalities and integrating that with western medicine.

I was first introduced to Reiki in 2014 when a coworker explained that her husband was a Reiki master. While exploring spirituality and personal empowerment, I started researching what Reiki was and the benefits it provides. I was attuned two years later and immediately started practicing on myself and others.

My mission is to help others see and feel the benefits of Reiki. In addition to Reiki, I have been drawn to working with stones and crystals, essential oils, meditation, and food as medicine. I have carefully integrated these studies into my Reiki practice to ensure my clients are getting the most out of their Reiki sessions.

I spend my free time with my four girls, yes ALL girls! They are amazing and beautiful in every way. In true Sagittarius fashion, I am one that loves to move move move! I was born and raised in Minnesota, but have lived in Colorado and California over the past 18 years. I love exposure to different cultures and people. I believe this gives me an opportunity to grow and learn from those around me.

I love love love the beach. The beach is my zen place. It’s where I connect to the universe and its most amazing energy. I could spend all day listening to the waves crash on the shore, feel the sun beating down on my face, and smelling the saltwater! I am a caring, empathic, healer who is learning to become more assertive.
